Who am I?
My name is Arrow Sherman.
I am a mother of two. I have been in Northwest Arkansas my entire life and absolutely love living in this community. My kids are a huge motivator for me in my life. They inspire everything I do. They both have such fun and beautiful personalities and I am extremely proud of them!
As a photographer, I run my own legal business in the state of Arkansas which means I am a very busy woman! I spend my days between caring for my kids, running errands, dealing with school, cleaning, cooking, but also running my business by updating tax spreadsheets, paying taxes, updating my website, uploading and delivering client galleries, editing, booking, blogging, networking, advertising, updating social media, logging travel, purchasing gear, prepping for photoshoots, consulting with brides on wedding information, building contracts, logging payments, etc. Every day is extremely busy, but I wouldnt change what I do for the world!
Aside from work, I am a very adventurous and outgoing person. I enjoy just about everything and get along with just about anyone! I love to go camping, hiking, boating, fishing, floating, swimming, shopping, shooting, bowling, dancing, out for karaoke. The list really is endless! I do also really enjoy quiet nights in curled up with a good film or book, sweats and some coffee!
I am a huge believer that every moment should be lived like its your last. I struggle and get stressed just like everyone else but I feel like even those moments can be a beautiful part of life. A moment of growth. All of the moments in life should be full of beauty, fun, passion, and love…like something out of a movie. Even in my work, I try to help create moments that give my clients an experience rather than just having them show up and pose for a photoshoot. I want them to laugh, kiss, play, look at eachother and enjoy themselves in their presence. I want them to feel like their personalities and their connection is felt through the photos when they see them.
I got into photography when I was 17 after my dad passed away and I realized that I had no photos of us together except some from when I was around 5 years old. I was very broken over that fact and I realized that I didnt ever want to lose someone again without having memories to look back on. I went out and bought a nice camera and I started taking pictures of just about everything I possibly could, hoping that one day I could look back and say I wouldnt forget a thing. Then I started shooting band photography for a group of friends who got started in the area and creating band promotional items.
It wasnt until a few years after I graduated high school that I began shooting for families and weddings but I am thankful I found my niche! Its exactly where I am supposed to be with my personality and my beliefs. I am here to ensure no one else ever loses those beautiful moments with their families, like I did.
